Find a recipe for every occasion
For those dining à deux this Christmas, this sophisticated menu from hot young Scottish chef Tom Kitchin is (almost) all you’ll need for a perfect lunch together – just add fine wine and enjoy a stress-free afternoon.
"In my restaurant we like to create dishes that two people can share. As the seasons change, our palates do too, and at this time of year we’re inclined to put together warm, comforting, no-fuss dishes. My recipe for guinea fowl and red cabbage is an ideal Christmas meal for two because of the bird’s size. The marinade has to be left for 24 hours, so prepare ahead and you’ll have time to relax with your loved one on the big day. Mulled wine is a Christmas essential, so my dessert of honey parfait with mulled red wine plums is perfect for a special celebration. This menu is your ticket to a peaceful, intimate Christmas."
