To enter the competition, entrants must send their favourite bespoke Italian recipe that they have designed with a friend, colleague or member of the family. From this shortlist, Giancarlo and Katie Caldesi will select their two favourite couples who will then perform a cook-off at La Cucina Caldesi in Marylebone, London, on Friday 18 September 2009. The two finalist couples will then be judged on their cookery skills by Giancarlo and Katie Caldesi and a winner will be selected. The two finalist couples will be contacted by phone or email within 28 days of the closing date of receipt of entries. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw the winner in the event that one or both of the finalists cannot be contacted within a reasonable period of time. The prize for the final two couples includes a delicious. goodie bag and magazine, Gabbiano aprons, a long weekend in London including Friday and Saturday night at a hotel (18-20 September 2009), a meal at Caffè Caldesi on Friday night, transport to and from London to the value of £200, five cases of Gabbiano per couple and £100 spending money. The prize for the final couple includes four nights (Wed-Sun) at the Castello di Gabbiano, Italy, including return economy flights, transfers, accommodation, tour and wine tasting, £500 spending money and the winning Italian recipe will appear on the menu at Caffè Caldesi, Marylebone for one month. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize(s). All prize travel and accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking. The prize does not include: travel insurance, meals and taxes not included in the price of the ticket. The prize must be taken before 31 October 2010 and cannot be taken between 21 July 2010 and 1 September 2010, 21 December 2009 and 4 January 2010 or include 2 April 2010, 4 April 2010, 3 May 2010 or 31 May 2010. Competition closing date is 28th April 2009. Entrants must be 16 and above and UK residents. Winner will receive a Smeg Retro appliance of their choice and colour. The winning entry will be notified within 14 days of the close of the competition. The winner will receive their chosen prize within 28 days of being notified of winning. All efforts will be made to contact the winner. If they cannot be contacted within 3 months an alternative winner will be chosen and contacted as per the above terms and conditions.
