August produce is nature's bounty. Heat-loving aubergines, courgettes, leeks and peas. Early apples, pears and plums are ready to be picked, and don't forget to make the most of other summer favourites including strawberries, cherries and raspberries.
With such an abundance of seasonal produce it's time to get in the kitchen and make the most of everything August has to offer. To give you a helping hand here are some seasonal recipe collections.
Meat
Venison has a flavour reminiscent of beef, but is richer and can have a gamey note. Venison tends to have a finer texture and is leaner than comparable cuts of beef.
