The collection of 24 fine, historic and independently owned UK inns, are renowned for their fine food and wine, and each winner and friend will enjoy dinner with wine on both nights of their stay. The special Game On menu will include local game such as venison, wild boar and pheasant.
Our winners can choose to stay at any of eight characterful inns (on a first come, first served basis – see T&Cs): The Rose & Crown at Romaldkirk, Teesdale, County Durham; The Boar’s Head, Ripley, and The Yorke Arms, Ramsgill, both in North Yorkshire; Shibden Mill Inn, Halifax, West Yorkshire; Barnsdale Lodge, Oakham, Rutland; The Peacock, Rowsley, Derbyshire; The Horseshoe Inn, near Peebles, Scottish Borders; and Milsoms, Dedham, Essex. Breaks can be taken up until the end of April 2011.
The winners will stay in the inn’s best available room, with breakfast each morning. It promises to be a wonderful break, full of rural fun.
