Win a weekend course for two at a top cookery school

Enjoy a two-night stay at Ashburton Cookery School in Devon and perfect your kitchen skills

Win a weekend course for two at a top cookery school

We've teamed up with Devon’s award-winning Ashburton Cookery School to offer you the chance to win one of five weekend courses for two. The winners will stay two nights at the school’s own Georgian B&B on the edge of Dartmoor.

All courses are hands-on with an emphasis on good local produce. You could take a general beginners’ course, learn more advanced cheffy skills, or choose a particular cuisine such as Thai or French. You’ll learn how to create great-tasting dishes and each day you’ll enjoy the meals you’ve created. All equipment, aprons, course notes and ingredients are included.

At the end of this fabulous weekend, attendees take home
a top-quality Robert Welch chef’s knife and an Ashburton Cookery School apron as mementoes.

FIVE courses to be won. Prize includes…

  • Weekend cookery workshop at Ashburton Cookery School – choose a course from Beginners, Advanced, Thai, Seafood, Italian, Vegetarian, Puddings and many more
  •  Two-night stay – enjoy the comfort of a Georgian townhouse in the heart of Ashburton
  •  Organic breakfast –  start your day with West Country cheeses and ham, plus homemade jams and croissants
  •  Ashburton Cookery School apron and Robert Welch chef's knife

A weekend in Devon and a weekend of food- There simply is no better combination. After a very tough year having a baby with some severe difficulties, it would be a perfect way for my husband and I to have some much needed 'us' time, doing what we love most. It would be a delicious recipe for a tempting treat!

Please please let me treat my mum to a weekend cookery course... I'm a 23year old student in Fine Art and my Filipino mum would love to go to Devon and improve our skills. We spend weekends cooking together and surprising each other! My dream is to do a 6month cookery course after graduation. I particularly love improving on my pastry skills and I know that my mum (who's asian cooking is hard to beat) would love to learn more French/English cooking from a real pro. She has never been to Devon, I would love to take her our of the the big city and see another English town and its food culture!!

My dream is to do the Ashburton 6 month course. I am a self-made chef who works on the superyachts, villas and chalets of some 5 years. This course would add considerably to my current skill sets and capabilities. I hope to save enough to do the course next winter. I have been trained by Malcolm-Alder Smith at UKSA who is a regular attender and fan of Ashburton courses. Hope to see you all very soon - maybe for a weekend!
