British Tomato Week, nationwide, UK
What do you do if you want to celebrate the UK’s 4th most popular fruit (yep, it's not a vegetable – confusing isn't it). Why, you dedicate a week of celebrations to it, that's what!
The British tomato season runs from March-October so do your bit for local prodcuers and keep your food miles low by buying British (if you live in the UK, that is!)
Plus you can do your bit for charity –
email your favourite original healthy tomato recipe and The British Tomato Growers’ Association and English Village Salad will donate £1 per recipe received to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Nationwide, UK
