September seasonal food
Autumn approaches and, following the harvest, British seasonal food is at its peak. Many summer foods are still available as well some winter produce. So welcome hearty game and wild rabbit dishes, fill up on local mussels and oysters, forage for wild mushrooms, make jam from remaining blackberries and strawberries, and enjoy the chestnuts and walnuts on offer.
