This blueberry and apple compote is simple to make and is great with yogurt for breakfast.
Ingredients
- 500g cooking apples, peeled, cored and chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 300g blueberries
- 75g golden caster sugar
Method
- 1. Put all the ingredients into a large bowl with 4 tablespoons of water. Microwave on high for 4 minutes and stir. Return to the microwave and cook for 3 more minutes until the fruit is tender. Cool and chill, then eat with yogurt.
