Blueberry and apple compote recipe

This blueberry and apple compote is simple to make and is great with yogurt for breakfast.

Blueberry and apple compote

Ingredients

  1. 500g cooking apples, peeled, cored and chopped
  2. Juice of 1 lemon
  3. 300g blueberries
  4. 75g golden caster sugar

Method

  1. 1. Put all the ingredients into a large bowl with 4 tablespoons of water. Microwave on high for 4 minutes and stir. Return to the microwave and cook for 3 more minutes until the fruit is tender. Cool and chill, then eat with yogurt.
