The humble sprout gets a truly hard time at Christmas. Boiled they're a little bland, but who could resist this green vegetable if they're served with some delicious chopped up chestnuts? What's more, it's such an easy side dish. Takes literally minutes to make, but the combination is classy.
Ingredients
- A pack of peeled sprouts
- Butter
- A few cooked and chopped chestnuts
Method
- 1.Cook a pack of peeled sprouts according to pack instructions, then drain.
- 2.Melt a little butter in a pan over a medium heat
- 3.Add the sprouts with a few cooked and chopped chestnuts and toss for a few minutes until heated through.
