Pass these nuts around your friends - they're great, and they only take five minutes to make.
Ingredients
- 350g mixed nuts
- 1 free-range egg white
- 50g caster sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 8 cardamom pods, seeds removed and crushed
Method
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan180°C/gas 6. In a small bowl, mix the nuts with the egg white.
- 2. Mix together the sugar and spices, then scatter over the nuts. Mix well and spread out on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool completely, then serve in bowls.
