These easy apple turnovers are so simple to make.
Ingredients
- 375g pack ready-rolled puff pastry
- 1 tablespoon of Bonne Maman Apple Compote
- Beaten egg
- Caster sugar
- Cream
Method
- Open out a 375g pack ready-rolled puff pastry. Cut in half lengthways, then cut widthways into 8 rough squares. Roll out each piece slightly to give a perfect square. Put 1 tablespoon of Bonne Maman Apple Compote into the centre of each square. Brush the edges with beaten egg. Fold over in a triangle and press the edges to seal. Trim the edges. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with caster sugar. Bake on a baking sheet at 200°C/fan180°C/gas 6 for 20-25 minutes until golden. Cool on a wire rack and serve with cream.
