Forest fruits oaty cinnamon crumble recipe

This mix of Forest fruits and pear with an oaty cinnamon topping is delicious - and it's good for you.

Forest fruits oaty cinnamon crumble

Ingredients

  1. 500g pears
  2. Juice of 1/2 lemon
  3. 200g golden caster sugar
  4. 1 tsp cinnamon
  5. 500g frozen forest fruits
  6. 100g olive oil spread, chilled
  7. 200g plain or wholemeal flour
  8. 150g porridge oats

Method

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan180°C/gas 6. Peel, quarter, core and slice the pears, then put into a 1.6-litre ovenproof dish and squeeze over the lemon juice. Add 100g of the sugar and the cinnamon, then gently stir in the frozen forest fruits.
  2. 2. Cut the olive oil spread into pieces and put into a food processor with the remaining sugar and the flour. Whizz together until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add the oats, whizz together for a couple of seconds then sprinkle on top of the fruit. Bake for 20 minutes until it is pale golden. Serve with virtually fat-free fromage frais.
