Give your mash a lift by adding some garlic butter. Your vegetarian friends will love it too.
Ingredients
- 1.1kg floury potatoes
- 75g butter
- 4 crushed garlic cloves
Method
- 1. Cut 1.1kg floury potatoes into chunks and put into a pan of salted water. Bring to the boil and cook for 15-20 minutes, until tender. Drain. Meanwhile, melt 75g butter, add
- 4 crushed garlic cloves and keep warm. Mash the potatoes until very smooth, then fold in the garlic butter, seasoning and enough milk to make a creamy mash.
