Microwaved quick cappucino adds a quick and easy touch of a class to any dinner party. Besides a shot of espresso, the most important element in preparing a cappuccino is the texture and temperature of the milk. The perfect Italian cappuccino is made up of equal measures of espresso, milk and froth.

Ingredients

  1. Hot espresso coffees
  2. 150ml skimmed milk

Method

  1. 1. Put skimmed milk into the glass jug of a cafètiere and microwave on high (900W) for 1 minute 20 seconds.
  2. 2. Pump the cafètiere plunger up and down to froth up the milk. 3. Spoon on top of hot espresso and dust with cocoa.
