Microwaved quick cappucino adds a quick and easy touch of a class to any dinner party. Besides a shot of espresso, the most important element in preparing a cappuccino is the texture and temperature of the milk. The perfect Italian cappuccino is made up of equal measures of espresso, milk and froth.
Ingredients
- Hot espresso coffees
- 150ml skimmed milk
Method
- 1. Put skimmed milk into the glass jug of a cafètiere and microwave on high (900W) for 1 minute 20 seconds.
- 2. Pump the cafètiere plunger up and down to froth up the milk. 3. Spoon on top of hot espresso and dust with cocoa.
