Mini black forest gateaux

Ingredients

  1. 3-4 mini chocolate brownies
  2. A few spoonfuls of cherries (from a can) and their syrup
  3. A good dollop of lightly whipped double cream
  4. Some grated plain chocolate

Method

  1. 1. Layer chocolate brownies, cherries and their syrup in 4 tumblers or dessert glasses.
  2. 2. Top each with a good dollop of lightly whipped double cream and some grated plain chocolate.

Chef's tip

Make this more indulgent by buying cherries that have been soaked in kirsch instead.
