Pasta with walnuts and creamy blue cheese recipe

A cheesy pasta recipe that's full of flavour and on the table in 10 minutes

Pasta with walnuts and creamy blue cheese

Ingredients

  1. 200g penne pasta
  2. 50g walnut pieces
  3. 200ml low-fat crème fraîche
  4. 55g blue cheese (such as Roquefort or Gorgonzola), cut up
  5. Handful fresh rocket

Method

  1. 1. Cook the pasta according to the packet instructions.
  2. 2. Meanwhile, toast the walnut pieces in a non-stick pan over a high heat for 1-2 minutes, tossing occasionally. Add the low-fat crème fraîche. When it bubbles, stir in the blue cheese and heat until just melted. Remove from the heat, toss with the pasta and rocket, and season to taste.
