Serve this broccoli with lemon recipe as a side dish for a Sunday roast, or with fish such as salmon.
Ingredients
- 500g purple sprouting broccoli, trimmed
- 50g butter
- Finely grated zest and juice of ½ lemon
Method
- 1. Steam the broccoli for 5 minutes over a pan of simmering water, until just tender.
- 2. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan with the lemon zest and juice and salt and pepper. Spoon the lemon butter over the broccoli to serve.
