We all know that sprouts aren't everyone's cup of tea. But serve up this quick recipe for stir-fried sprouts and we think the sprout-haters will change their minds.
Ingredients
- 900g prepared Brussels sprouts
- 50g butter
- 1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
Method
- 1. Thinly slice the sprouts lengthways and wash under cold water. Cover and chill until needed.
- 2. Just before serving, heat the butter in a large, heavy-based pan over a medium-high heat. Add the sprouts and stir-fry for about 5 minutes, so they are still a little crunchy. Add the nutmeg, season and serve.
