Strawberry cream cheese sandwiches recipe

Try these gourmet sandwiches for that quintessentially great British taste. They're perfect for an afternoon tea or birthday party.

Ingredients

1. Loaf of white bread
2. Tub of cream cheese or mascarpone
3. Punnet of strawberries
4. Jar of runny honey

Method

1. 1. Spread slices of white bread with full-fat cream cheese or mascarpone and top with sliced strawberries, drizzle with honey and sandwich together.
2. 2. Remove the crusts and cut the sandwiches into triangles. Secure with cocktail sticks to serve.

The cheese in this really compliments the strawberries, which was quite surprising. Chilli Peppers and Balsamic vinegar go really well with this.
