These quick and easy Thai patties will be on the table in no time.

Thai pork patties

Ingredients

  1. 500g lean pork mince
  2. A bunch of finely chopped spring onions
  3. A small bunch of chopped fresh coriander
  4. 3 tbsps of Thai red curry paste
  5. A dash of fish sauce
  6. A herb, spring onion and cucumber salad, sweet chilli sauce and lime wedges to serve.

Method

  1. 1. In a bowl, mix the mince with spring onions, coriander, Thai red curry paste and a dash of fish sauce.
  2. 2. Shape into 12 patties and fry in a pan for 5 minutes each side, until browned.
  3. 3. Serve with a herb, spring onion and cucumber salad, sweet chilli sauce and lime wedges.

Wine Recommendation

Head for a chilled rosé or a scented Gewürztraminer.

Absolutely delicious. Easy, tasty and impressive - added a chopped bird's eye chilli for even more kick and they were superb. Served with spiced rice and a hot and sour cucumber salad. My other half said that if we'd ordered it from our local Thai takeaway, we'd be ordering them again!!!

Made these the other day,delicious.I have printed the recipe for my friend who missed this issue.I think they are as nice in a breadcake or just with a mixed salad.Highly recomended
