Warm chocolate croissants with ice cream recipe

A scrumptuous, decadent dessert that involves hardly any cooking is a winner, and this one's no exception.

Warm chocolate croissants with ice cream

Ingredients

  1. A large bar of plain chocolate
  2. 4 good-quality, fresh croissants
  3. A dusting of icing sugar
  4. Vanilla ice cream
  5. A handful of strawberries

Method

  1. 1. Cut the chocolate into small squares.
  2. 2. Split open the croissants and tuck a few squares of chocolate into each one.
  3. 3. Warm them through in a hot oven for 5 minutes until the chocolate melts.
  4. 4. Dust the croissants with icing sugar and serve with scoops of vanilla ice cream and a few strawberries on the side.
