This colourful chard recipe provides the perfect side dish to any salmon main course

Wilted chard with butter and garlic

Ingredients

  1. Good knob of butter
  2. 1 garlic clove, crushed
  3. 800g ruby or mixed chard leaves, washed just before use

Method

  1. 1. Melt the butter in a frying pan over a medium heat, then add the garlic and fry for 30 seconds.
  2. 2. Add the wet chard to the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender. Season well, then serve.
