Must-visit: Ondine in London
For just four days, from 27 September until 1 October, Ondine from Edinburgh is travelling to London for a pop-up at Carousel.
I first told you about Ondine after I visited Edinburgh, and the fantastic seafood restaurant, in May and wrote about it in my foodie postcard. I also named the langoustines that I had there as my favourite thing I ate that month.
Then, in June, Ondine was announced as the 60th best restaurant in the UK in The National Restaurant Awards.
So, you can only imagine my excitement when I heard the restaurant is having a four-day residency in the Big Smoke.
Chef patron Roy Brett will be bringing his brigade of talented chefs, and the finest sustainable Scottish seafood and shellfish, and creating a four course menu for the people of London.
Expect courses like baked scallops in their shell, shellfish soup and roast North Sea cod.
I’ve already got my tickets and if I were you, I’d snap one up tout suite.
