How to use up leftover white miso paste 

  • Fish marinade
    Mix white miso paste with soy sauce, then spread over sustainable white fish fillets such as pollock or whiting and bake until golden and cooked through.
  • Japanese noodles
    Mix white miso paste with finely chopped garlic, grated fresh ginger, chopped spring onions, vegetable oil and rice wine vinegar. Toss through freshly cooked and drained soba noodles, then sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
