Who makes Britain’s best cricket tea?

Cricket is the only sport where they still stop for tea and, in the Great Cricket Tea Challenge 2015, Yorkshire Tea scoured the UK for the best cricket tea in the country.

Who makes Britain’s best cricket tea?

Cricket: a game where sportsmanship goes hand in hand with a decent brew – and maybe even a cake, pie and sandwich or two. That’s why Yorkshire Tea is so close to the heart of cricketers everywhere, as it forms a fundamental part of the game they know and love.

Now in its third year, the Yorkshire Tea Great Cricket Tea Challenge searched up and down the country to find the UK’s finest cricket tea and – with a little help from food writer Xanthe Clay and former England batsman Mark Vaughan – whittled the shortlist down to six clubs.

In this video, watch Grayshott, Ebernoe, Newton Linford, Bishop Thornton, Morton and Uffington clubs battle it out in a bid to become the best cricket tea in Britain.
