A vegan feast with Joanna Lumley, Felicity Cloake’s new book and wine in Slovenia: listen now

This month I report from a vegan feast with Joanna Lumley, talk to Guardian food writer Felicity Cloake about her new book and discuss wines from a vineyard in Slovenia.

First up, delicious. deputy editor tells me why the magazine doesn’t take on the “New Year, new you” approach but instead looks for comfort in January.

Then I head to The Savoy, with Joanna Lumley and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, for a vegan banquet. Joanna tells me about how, half-way through eating a steak, she decided to never eat meat again.

Felicity Cloake tells me all about her new book, Completely Perfect, and where the inspiration came from. Then we discuss her favourite books, the stories behind recipes and what to do when things go wrong.

I talk to Jasmine Hemsley about her first food memory, squabbling with her sister Melissa and why she turned to an Ayurvedic diet.

Then, I met wine producers Alex and Simona to discuss natural wines and why their vineyards, in Slovenia, have the perfect climate for producing wine.

Last but not least, I headed into the delicious. test kitchen with cookery assistant Olivia to make the ultimate comfort food, a Swiss cheese fondue.
