The celebration Sunday lunch menu

Stop what you’re doing! We’ve got the most decadent slow-roasted lamb recipe that’s so darn delicious, we’re calling for a celebration! Alongside it, you’ll discover an easy-yet-impressive asparagus starter followed by this eye-catching rhubarb tart for pudding.

Whatever the cause for a party – be it a birthday, a family get-together or Mother’s Day – use our course-by-course celebration menu to help you rejoice in style.

What’s for starters?

Rejoice in all of spring’s glory with our griddled asparagus toasts, served with a drizzle of tangy gribiche sauce (a French condiment that’s similar to mayo). They’re the perfect mouthful to whet appetites without filling your guests up too much before the show-stopping main arrives.

If asparagus isn’t in season, opt for our spring onion and ricotta toasts instead.

What’s for mains?

In our humble opinion, this roast leg of lamb is reason enough to celebrate. Our Mediterranean version of a roast marries a juicy roast leg of lamb with aubergine Parmigiana to bring out all of the meat’s rich flavours. It really is a great dish for for entertaining.

What’s for pudding?

In-keeping with the spring theme, we insist you give our rhubarb, ginger and lime custard tart a go. The magic combination of sweet custard and tart candy-pink rhubarb is a classic flavour match. Plus, we’ve gone one step further and added a twist with the zing of fresh lime and a touch of stem ginger. It’s bound to be a winner at your celebratory Sunday feast.

If you can’t get your hands on rhubarb, we’ve got plenty of other sweet tart recipes for you to enjoy.
