Before you start
Don’t waste it Leave the skins on the apples for extra fibre and to reduce waste – just give the apples a good wash before chopping.
Scale it up This recipe doubles up easily to serve 4 but you may need to use two dishes or even individual pots, depending on the size of your air fryer drawer. You could make double the cooked apple mixture in step 1, then freeze the rest for up to 3 months and defrost to make an even speedier air-fryer crumble.
