This spectacular-looking creation is a croquembouche (also known as a profiterole mountain).
- Traditional French dessert: A classic French patisserie dish, made by piling chocolate cream-filled profiteroles in a pyramid and binding them together with caramel.
- Impressive for a special occasion: Famously seen on The Great British Bake Off, this showstopping dessert is a great choice for celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries and even weddings.
- Delicious delicate flavour: The crisp golden choux buns and rich creamy filling is a divine combination, paired with wisps of fine caramel for an extra sweet note.
If you need a hand with making your choux pastry, you can see pictures on this page (although the recipe is different).
