  1. Wear rubber gloves when peeling beetroot so your hands don’t get stained.

    If you want to get ahead, you can use ready made blinis.

  2. Freeze the cooled blinis for up to 3 months, between layers of baking paper. Defrost, warm in a medium oven for 5 minutes, then top and serve.
