A snack that’s tough to beat, this crisp, chewy air fryer halloumi is livened up with a subtly spiced honey for a sweet-meets-salty explosion of flavour. Great as part of a selection of mezze dishes or on its own with a bit of bread. Keeping the cheese in larger pieces ensures they don’t dry out and turn rubbery.

  1. No air fryer? Simply fry the oil covered halloumi for about 5 minutes in a frying pan over a medium heat, turning halfway.
