Air fryer Singapore noodles

“You don’t need a wok to make these Singapore noodles – the air fryer does all the work for you and they’re a cinch to make,” says recipe writer Louise Kenney. “All that is required is some initial chopping, then you’re good to go. I’d recommend getting everything prepared before you start up your air fryer, as this will save you time.”

  • Vegetarian Singapore noodles: The classic ingredients for this crowdpleasing dish include thin rice noodles and curry powder seasoning, often with chicken, pork or prawns. This version sticks with vegetables for a vegan-friendly dish.
  • Quick and easy: Ready in under 30 minutes, this recipe simply requires slicing some spring onions, cabbage, red pepper and carrot before seasoning and combining in the air fryer. The noodles, beansprouts and flavourings are added in the last few minutes of cooking. Easy!
  • Meal idea for two: The recipe serves two people – ideal for a Friday night fakeaway dinner. If you want to scale up the recipe, make sure your air fryer has enough capacity. As with all ingredients cooked in the air fryer, the vegetables need to have enough space between them for the air to circulate, so they fry (rather than steam).
