This red berry yogurt smoothie recipe is just what the doctor ordered on a hot day - and healthy, too.

Red berry yogurt smoothie

Ingredients

  1. 500g bag frozen summer fruits
  2. 50g golden caster sugar
  3. 300ml apple juice
  4. 500g raspberry yogurt

Method

  1. 1. Put the frozen berries into a large processor or blender with the sugar, apple juice and raspberry yogurt. Whizz until really smooth.
  2. 2. Rest a sieve on top of a large jug and pour the smoothie through. Stir the mixture with a metal spoon to help it through – this takes a while but removes all those raspberry seeds. Chill until needed or put into a Thermos flask to take on a picnic. Don’t forget the plastic cups!
