Serve this 10-minute pudding with ice cream, custard or just as they are (with a dash of extra maple syrup!).
- Serves 6
- Hands-on time 10 min
Ingredients
- Knob of butter
- 3 firm apples, such as braeburn or granny smith, quartered and thickly cut into wedges
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
Method
- Melt the butter in a non-stick frying pan set over a medium heat. Once the butter stops foaming, add the apple wedges and season with a little salt and a grinding of black pepper. Cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes until the apples are starting to brown.
- Add the maple syrup and cook for a further 2-3 minutes until golden and the sauce is slightly syrupy. Serve alongside the pork.
