Sautéed cabbage with nutmeg recipe

Make cabbage extra special this Christmas with the simple addition of grated nutmeg.

Sautéed cabbage with nutmeg

Ingredients

  1. 15g butter
  2. 250g green cabbage, shredded
  3. Freshly grated nutmeg

Method

  1. 1. Melt the butter in a large sauté pan. Add the cabbage and 1 tbsp water. Season, cover and cook over a medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring once or twice, until just tender. Season with nutmeg and a little more salt and pepper, then serve immediately.
