Mandy Yin is the chef/owner of acclaimed Malaysian restaurant, Sambal Shiok in London. Yin is Malaysian-born Chinese of Peranakan Nyonya heritage – she spent years in Kuala Lumpur before moving to London. She is also the author of two popular cookbooks, Sambal Shiok and Simply Malaysian (both Quadrille).
