Spiced berry hot toddy

A hybrid between mulled wine and a hot toddy, this is a deeply warming, non-alcoholic cocktail (although you can add a little port and brandy if you want to pep it up a little).

Ready in 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 10ml Bottlegreen Spiced Berry cordial, or similar
- ½ star anise
- 2 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 thin slices fresh ginger
Method
- Mix the berry cordial with 80 ml very hot water, then heat in a pan until just below simmering point.
- Add the spices and ginger and brew for a couple of minutes. Pour into a mug and drink piping hot.
