A hybrid between mulled wine and a hot toddy, this is a deeply warming, non-alcoholic cocktail (although you can add a little port and brandy if you want to pep it up a little).

Method

  1. Mix the berry cordial with 80 ml very hot water, then heat in a pan until just below simmering point.
  2. Add the spices and ginger and brew for a couple of minutes. Pour into a mug and drink piping hot.
