How to use up leftover natural yogurt

  • Spiced yogurt chicken marinade
    Put 200ml natural yogurt in a mixing bowl with 2 tsp ground turmeric, 1 tsp ground coriander, 1 crushed garlic clove, juice 1/2 lemon and a pinch of salt. Mix well. Coat 4 cubed, skinless and boneless chicken thighs in the yogurt mixture. Cover and marinate in the fridge for 12 hours or overnight. Shake off the excess marinade, then grill until slightly charred and cooked through.
  • Creamy porridge
    Add a dollop of yogurt to porridge as it cooks, along with spices and fruit of your choice.
