What to do with leftover teriyaki sauce
Teriyaki sauce is a staple of Asian cuisine with delicious ginger and garlic flavours. Use leftovers with ingredients such as aubergines, chicken and salmon.

How to use up leftover teriyaki sauce
- Chicken wings
Marinate chicken wings in teriyaki sauce, lime juice, clear honey and chopped fresh chilli for at least 1 hour. Put the chicken on a baking sheet (reserve the marinade) and roast for 30 minutes in an oven heated to 200˚C/180˚C fan/ gas 6. Brush over the reserved marinade to glaze, then return to the oven for a further 30 minutes or until the chicken is dark and sticky. - Salmon parcel
Wrap a fillet of salmon in foil along with some teriyaki sauce and chopped fresh ginger, garlic and fresh coriander. Tightly seal and cook on a baking sheet in a hot oven for 6-8 minutes until just cooked.
