  1. The game pie was just awesome, very very tasty. I’d never had pheasant before and I’d been waiting nearly a whole year to use the pheasant I was given last season, and which I hung then bravely skinned, gutted and prepped with my own hands. A bizarre experience but I can now honestly say my pie(s) were 100% home made. Enjoyed with Kale and garlic mash and a beautiful Pinot noir. Probably the tastiest pie I’ve ever had and the best thing of all was my daughter decided last minute she wouldn’t eat game, so there was more for me!!? Oh dear!
