Tuna and tomato fry-up

You only need four ingredients for this delicious tuna and tomato fry-up, and it tastes just as good served with bread, pasta, rice or potatoes.


  • 400g can tuna chunks in oil
  • 2 red onions, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 x 400g cans cherry tomatoes in juice or canned chopped tomatoes


  1. Open the can of tuna and drain the oil from the can into a large pan. Set aside the can with the tuna. Heat the oil for about 30 seconds, then add the onions and garlic and cook gently for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the tuna and the canned tomatoes with their juice and warm through for 5 minutes. Season with freshly ground black pepper and it’s ready.
