How to use up leftover juniper berries
- Quick juniper and port sauce. Melt a knob of butter in a pan and add 1 chopped garlic clove and 10 juniper berries, bashed with the flat of a knife. When fragrant, pour in equal amounts of port and beef/chicken stock. Bubble until syrupy. Serve over steaks or roast duck breasts.
