How to use leftover walnuts
- Rustic crumble. Whizz walnuts in a food processor with oats, plain flour, butter and brown sugar. Lay on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, then cook in a hot oven until crisp. Scatter over poached fruit and serve with yogurt.
- Nutty loaf. Add some chopped walnuts and pumpkin seeds to soda bread dough.
