Dark chocolate salted caramel fondue

Rich, smooth, dark and indulgent. How can you resist? Dip marshmallows, biscotti and fresh fruit into this glossy chocolate and salted caramel fondue.

- 43.8g (43.6g sugars)
- 200g sugar
- 4 tbsp water
- 100g cubed salted butter
- 100g chopped dark chocolate
- 100ml double cream
- Pinch of salt
- Marshmallows, biscotti and fresh fruit, to dip
- Put the sugar in a pan with 4 tbsp water and heat gently until dissolved. Bubble until the mixture turns a deep caramel colour, then quickly whisk in the salted butter and chopped dark chocolate until melted and smooth (be careful as it might spit).
- Whisk in the double cream to make a smooth, glossy sauce. Once cooled slightly, add a pinch of salt, then serve with marshmallows (vegetarian if need be), biscotti and fresh fruit to dip.
