Basil vinaigrette recipe

This herby dressing recipe is perfect on grilled fish, chicken or meat as well as tomato or new potato salads

Basil vinaigrette

Ingredients

  1. 6 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  2. 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  3. 15g basil leaves, torn
  4. 1 small garlic clove
  5. 1 shallot, finely chopped
  6. Pinch of sugar

Method

  1. 1. Put all the ingredients into a small food processor and whizz until smooth.
