Our delicious Eid recipes include celebration dishes like lamb curry, biryanis, pilau, creamy kormas, crispy samosas and fluffy flatbreads. Put an Eid feasting menu together with our ideas, starting with chef Aktar Islam’s fennel and onion pakoras and these spiced potato puffs – or make a selection of bites to offer guests.
We’ve also got some traditional sweet recipes for Eid on the list, like kheer and gulab jamun. Some of our favourites include these chocolate-coated dates, which make a great gift, and food writer Dina Begum’s spiced coconut pastries.
