I met up with MasterChef 2018 winner Kenny Tutt (just a few days before his restaurant Pitch opened at the end of May) to watch him cook his version of fish and chips.
While Kenny cooks turbot served with warm hollandaise, spring greens and crispy potatoes, I grill him on what it’s like to go from winning MasterChef to opening his own restaurant… all in less than a year.
He tells me how petrified he was to take part on the television series and why he thinks he went on to win.
We also discuss what he’s most worried about for the launch of his restaurant, Pitch, in West Sussex.
