These sweet potato chilli chips goes really well with burgers or home-made fish fingers and are lighter than regular chips.

Ingredients

  • 5-6 sweet potatoes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Lots of salt and pepper
  • 1 red chilli, deseeded and chopped
  • 1 tsp black mustard seeds

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C/fan200°C/gas 7. Cut the sweet potatoes into thin chips and place in a roasting tin with the olive oil, lots of salt and pepper, red chilli, and black mustard seeds. Roast for 30-40 minutes, until golden and beginning to caramelise.

  1. Try a little sweet chilli dipping sauce before roasting for an extra sticky sweetness.
