Ingredients

  • 750g sprouts, peeled
  • 40g butter
  • 200g cooked and peeled whole chestnuts, roughly chopped

Method

  1. Wash the sprouts in water. Drain, rinse, and discard any damaged leaves. Bring a large pan of water to the boil, add the sprouts and blanch for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan over a medium heat.
  3. Add the sprouts and chestnuts and toss for a few minutes until heated through. Season well, then serve
