A crisp walk in the forest is what perfectly sums up Christmas time to Gill Meller.. Whilst he’s not always on the lookout for something edible on his winter walks, Gill is always looking at his surroundings and simply adores soaking up the beautiful nature around him. Sometimes, he gets lucky and spots something edible on his travels too.

Christmas can be quite overwhelming, especially as things seem to kick-start earlier and earlier each year. Taking some time out from the stress of the festive period to breathe in some fresh air is something Gill strongly vouches for.

I dare you not to find the sounds of our makeshift campfire utterly soothing in this podcast set in the wild outdoors. Join us as Gill prepares some lovely, fresh wild mushrooms cooked with butter and garlic, cooked on an open fire.

This is a Christmas tradition we can definitely get on board with.
